A lumnae Mentors Needed
How did you transition from college to career? Did you face any circumstances that challenged you?

More likely than not, your career is not exactly how you thought it would be when you were a student, whether that be drastic changes to your career path or slight changes, it is probably not identical to what you envisioned as a student.

Sigma Delta Tau’s mentor program is a great way to get involved and give back to your sisters. We understand the importance of having guidance and insight as somebody makes that transition from college to career.

We would like you to be a mentor for a Sigma Delta Tau sister so then you can empower her to be better professionally prepared for whatever career challenges she may not realize are on the horizon.

It is about a 5-hour time commitment over the course of the Spring semester (February-May). To get involved, click below to submit the  mentor application . Please sign up by February 11th.
Seeking Torch Magazine Submissions
Work has begun on the Spring issue of the Torch . Please remember to submit news on Alumnae Connections, Where are they Now, and Stream of Life. Please submit information by March 2nd.
Job Posting
Sigma Delta Tau is proud to partner with Jewish Women International in support of their mission to empower women and girls. Presently, they are searching for a Vice President of Women’s Leadership and Development.
Gratitude Jar: A New Family Tradition
Lifestyle Feature By: Cerise Mazur, Gamma Xi-Montclair State University
With the new year we often think of new resolutions. Why not try a gratitude practice for 2020!? Last year I was away for an overnight health & wellness retreat in beautiful Cape May. One morning when we were journaling, we spoke about practicing gratitude and all the many benefits that come with it.

“It is not happiness that makes us grateful; it is gratefulness that makes us happy.”
