A Great Day in the Kingdom

What would the world be like if all of humanity decided to Bless one another? Have you ever encountered someone who obviously decided to Bless those around them? Years ago, in Granbury, Texas there lived a man who ran a hamburger joint, with joy. When you...

  • For online worship, please have juice and bread ready to follow along with Pastor Joel Robbins

Lord's Acre

It is with a sad heart that Lord's Acre 2020 has been cancelled. Current Parker County regulations restrict outside gatherings of more than 100 people.  We have no way to keep the attendance below 100.  We look forward to a bigger and brighter Lord's Acre 2021!

Donations can be placed in the marked bin in the Narthex. Thank you for your faithfulness in feeding our hungry friends.
Need Assistance?

If you or anyone you know is in need of food Aledo UMC has Manna bags ready to go.  Hours to pick up a bag of canned goods are Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon-3:00pm, in the Narthex. Electronic Giving

As we move into virtual worship and other gatherings for the foreseeable future, now is a great time to connect with online giving to ensure that the ministries and outreach of the church are not interrupted.
There are two basic ways to give electronically, and both are quick and simple.
  1. The best option is to give via a direct transfer from your checking account. This is fee-free for you and the church. Simply fill out the accompanying ACH form and send it in to the church office along with a voided check. You can mail it to Aledo UMC, PO Box 126, Aledo, TX 76008.
  2. Or you can text "aledoumc" to 77977. This will connect you to a service called PushPay, which will allow you to give electronically to the church using either a credit card or debit card. You will receive a text back with instructions guiding you through setting up your gift. You can give either a one-time gift or set up weekly or monthly giving through PushPay.
