Voter Registration Ends Monday! |

The Primary Election is just around the corner. In fact, the last day to register to vote is next Monday, January 31st!
In these last remaining days I challenge everyone to register at least one new Republican voter. Everyone likely knows at least one friend, neighbor, coworker or family member who is conservative and unregistered. Don't know anyone...? Reach out to your county party!

Now for a quick update about applications for a ballot by mail and ballot by mail issues. As you know, there have been recent stories in the news about an inordinate number of requests being rejected because of Senate Bill (SB) 1. Actually, as the laws have been interpreted by the Secretary of State, those counties should not have rejected many of those ballots. The Secretary of State’s office is in the process of releasing an Election Advisory regarding this process. In fact, SB 1 provides a process for voters applying for a ballot by mail to appeal or to overturn a rejected ballot by mail. That makes it easier for voters to ensure their vote will count. If there is information missing, there is now a process to allow voters to correct that issue.

The link here, will take a voter to the page below (screenshot for your convenience). As you can see, the system is designed to track the application and the ballot. Once a voter has accessed the link and input the information required, the voter can fix problems online or contact their local officials to cure any defects. Joe Biden's Disastrous First Year |
|
Just over one year ago, Joe Biden took the oath of office. Despite serving in government for nearly his entire life, Biden has proven himself to be an incompetent and failed leader.
What you need to know:
- After a year of unified Democrat government with Biden at the helm, the American people are suffering and American power abroad is shrinking – somehow, Biden has managed to fail on all fronts.

Under Biden, COVID-19 cases have reached new records and tragically, more people have died of COVID-19 since Biden took office than before, despite Biden being handed vaccines developed by President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed.

Biden rejected proposals to order enough tests and treatments when he could have, leading to long lines across the country for thousands of Americans.
- In far-left cities across the nation like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., Democrats have enacted vaccine mandates that are crushing the liberties of their residents, segregating the unvaccinated, even those who possess natural immunity, from participation in public life.

Thousands of schools have been closed or forced into remote learning status after Senate Democrats refused to tie funding to reopening .
On historic inflation: Biden and his administration repeatedly promised inflation was only “transitory.” Biden’s Chief of Staff even called inflation a “high class problem.”
On the supply chain crisis: despite reports to the contrary, Biden has insisted his supply chain crisis “didn’t actually occur.”

But American shoppers know the truth: many goods are in short supply across the nation – one woman said she feels “like [she lives] in the Soviet Union.” A store manager said the supply chain crisis is “like an ongoing hurricane that never ends.”

The number of ships waiting off the coast of Los Angeles and Long Beach has reached new all-time highs.

During the holidays, “out-of-stock messages were up 10% from a year ago … and up 253% from 2019.”
On the southern border: Biden insisted he had “gotten control” of the crisis, while Kamala Harris, his border czar, claimed they had made “ progress.”

Biden’s presidency has been marked by month after month of shocking levels of illegal immigrant encounters at the southern border. DHS recently faced the worst November at the border in the agency's history.

There is no measure that indicates Biden has gotten his border crisis under control.

Harris hasn’t gone to the border since June, and despite admitting he should go, Biden never has.

This crisis is the direct consequence of Joe Biden’s disastrous policies and rhetoric. In Biden’s first 100 days in office he took more than 94 executive actions on immigration, including halting construction of the border wall and ending the Trump administration’s successful “Remain in Mexico” policy.

Tragically, 13 U.S. service members were killed as a result of Biden’s disastrous decisions. During the dignified transfer of these heroes at Dover Air Force Base, Biden looked at his watch multiple times.

The Taliban dictated terms to the U.S. and Biden let them get away with it - the Taliban also took over the country in just days.

Biden left behind billions of dollars in U.S. military equipment – equipment that may now fall into enemy hands.
- U.S. soldiers, marines, sailors, airmen, and our allied forces sacrificed so much for 20 years. They deserve better than Joe Biden.
On crime: Biden has falsely insisted “crime is down” on his watch.

Crime is surging around the nation – 12 U.S. cities set homicide records last year, and all 12 are run by Democrats.
- Far-left activists have pushed to end cash bail and release criminals back onto the streets, many of which commit more crimes.

Democrats are also pushing for earlier release for criminals, reduced sentences for criminals, and no prosecutions for brazen criminals.

Former San Francisco Police Department Deputy Chief James Dudley laid the blame squarely at the feet of Democrat politicians: “Until there’s a response, until there’s a political will and legislative efforts to support police efforts to stop this sort of activity, we’re going to see it proliferate and continue.”
The bottom line:
Biden is failing the American people. In November, Americans will hold Biden and Democrats accountable – they will deliver victories to Republicans up and down the ballot.
Republicans Stand for the Sanctity of Life

- The Republican Party will continue to stand for the sanctity of life, speak up for the unborn, and help vulnerable mothers.

Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, modern medicine has made significant advancements that show us the undeniable humanity of a 15-week-old child in the womb. Roe uses outdated science.
- Supporters of the Roe decision agree with court-imposed abortion on-demand until the moment of birth.

Democrat politicians have rejected the science and have embraced radical abortion policies that are completely detached from the American mainstream – they are pushing taxpayer funded, on demand, and unlimited abortion up until the moment of birth and after.
- Many Democrats favor using taxpayer dollars to fund late-term abortions, but polls consistently show Americans do not want the federal government to fund abortion:
- The Biden administration has taken numerous actions to dismantle pro-life policies and promote abortion.

Democrat politicians have made clear that there’s no place for pro-life voters in the Democrat Party.
- The pro-life movement speaks up for both lives that are at stake during an abortion – the vulnerable mother and the unborn child.
- The pro-life movement advocates for vulnerable mothers to choose life and has supported adoption, foster care, and faith-based adoption services.
The bottom line:
Life is precious and worth defending. While Democrats are fighting to force their radical abortion agenda on all Americans, Republicans are fighting to defend innocent life.
