CHURCH GIVING
Westminster Presbyterian Church is pleased to offer a digital option for making contributions. This is not intended to replace giving as a part of corporate worship, but to provide another way to give for those who may be unable to attend church in person or would like to set up an automatic tithe. For online giving, click HERE. You may also
mail a check to the church office. Thank you all for your continuing faithful and generous stewardship of God's resources.

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work" (2 Cor. 9:7-8).
SUBMIT YOUR PRAYER & PRAISE REQUEST
If you are unable to attend corporate worship in person, we still want for you to make your prayer requests known so that we can pray for one another. You may do that by sending an email to [email protected]. In the subject line, please write "Prayer Request." If you would like your prayer request to remain confidential, then please annotate as such. Please submit all prayer requests no later than 4:00 p.m. each Monday. We will publish our weekly prayer and praise email on Tuesday of each week.

Preparation for Worship
Beloved Congregation,

Both of our worship services this Lord's Day will be held together by two unifying themes: man's confession of sin and God's forgiving grace. In the morning service, I will be preaching from Ezra's great prayer of national confession. Pastor McGowan will be preaching from Jonah's prayer issued from the belly of the great fish in the evening service. In both accounts, the realities of man's rebellion and God's forgiving grace appear in technicolor. What could be more relevant in our present-day? The world falsely thinks that biological disease, financial meltdown, and social inequality are the gravest dangers of our day. In truth, sin is the universal and catastrophic mortal threat to all humanity.

Sunday will be Pastor McGowan's final sermon at Westminster before moving to Tallahassee with his dear family. The Lord has been gracious to give Sean considerable gifts for ministry, and we are thankful for the opportunity to be recipients of them. Please consider coming out to support him in his final labor in the Word among us.

This weekend is also the Share Your Faith Workshop for which we have been praying so long. Please continue to pray that God will abundantly bless this time for evangelistic study. Our presenter, Pastor David Todd, would surely benefit from your prayers as well. Let's all pray that God will make Westminster Presbyterian Church a strong garrison for training and sending Gospel communicators into this lost and dying world.

Your prayers are the machinery of this small kingdom outpost that we call Westminster Presbyterian Church, so please keep them in full supply.

In the bonds of Christ's love,

~Pastor Joe

Our weekly worship bulletin is available HERE. It contains the hymns we will be singing and suggestions from Pastor Steele regarding ways for you to maximize the sense of corporate worship though at home. We have also added the announcements that are included in the tri-fold bulletins for our congregants who worship at home.

The Livestream is available HERE and starts at 9:25 a.m. for the morning service and 5:55 p.m. for the evening service. The Westminster Facebook page also supports the Livestream for those who prefer to use their Facebook account.

We will use the sanctuary to maintain social distance but we will remove our masks so we can enunciate and see one another's mouths! We invite all singers whose voices have matured (typically 9th grade and up). While we would prefer that you can read music, we can teach you on the fly! We enjoy our time singing so we ask you to come with a joyful countenance and ready to sing all genres of music.

Missionary Spotlight
World Reformed Fellowship

Attendees pose at the 2019 World Reformed Fellowship General Assembly in Jakarta, Indonesia, which drew hundreds of people from around the world.

The mission of the World Reformed Fellowship is to promote a cooperative network for communication and sharing of ministry resources among their membership of evangelical and reformed Christians in the advancement of the Gospel across at least 61 nations. WRF emphasizes that it is a fellowship, not a council. Councils tend to require tight agreement doctrinally or in polity, or focus on mutual declarations of an academic nature.

WRF is designed to surmount difficulties caused by geographic, cultural, or linguistic barriers and to offer a gathering point where Reformed leaders can grow to know one another and then work out mutually beneficial cooperative agreements. WRF provides one level of fellowship for denominations and another for agencies, institutions, lay persons and leaders. Nearing its twentieth anniversary, the WRF has a growing membership of over 73 denominational members (in 30 countries), 54 congregational members (in 26 countries), 114 organizational members (in 30 countries), and 374 individual members (in 53 countries).
