I know Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but it's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas in our school building. It seems like every time I turn a corner I hear Christmas carols being practiced in preparation for our Christmas Pageant in just a few weeks. Today, in the parent communication envelope we sent home the December calendar. Please take some time to review it now, so that you are prepared for the busy month ahead.

On Tuesday, we'll take time to thank God for the many blessings he has bestowed on us as we celebrate our Thanksgiving Mass. At the offertory time, along with the bread and wine, we will have students offer three baskets of canned foods, symbolic of the truck load of food collected during the month of the November and delivered to the Gray House this afternoon. Thank you parents for supporting our food drive and modeling for your children how important it is to be generous with the gifts God has given us.

Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. We would love to have you join us if your schedule allows.

Enjoy a great weekend.

Peace and God's blessings,

Ms. Ann E. Dougal
Principal

Food For Thought

"Often, actually very often, God allows his greatest servants, those who are far advanced in grace, to make the most humiliating mistakes. This humbles them in their own eyes and in the eyes of their fellow men."
