On Monday our Knights will already be starting their sixth week of school. With the 2nd nine weeks beginning on October 13, students will be able to change their learning platform if desired. If your child is attending school via LaunchED@Home they can change to Face-to-Face. If your child is Face-to-Face they can switch to LaunchED@Home. However, we do need to be notified by this coming Friday, September 18 so we can prepare for the changes in the 2nd nine weeks. Please also remember that we will not be able to honor any requests after that date. Parents will have another opportunity to evaluate their child's learning platform at the semester break.

We will also be releasing quarter 1 progress reports later this week and they will be made available on Skyward Family Access. I encourage all parents/guardians to review their student's results with them as soon as possible keeping in mind that we began our Learning Labs last week for any student needing additional help (please see Learning Lab dates and times of the week just below).

In this issue you will find Part 1 of our review of LNMS clubs and organizations open to our Knights. I encourage all of our Knights to consider participating in one extracurricular group this year if they are able to. We have wonderful sponsors and our clubs and organizations can really help the students expand their middle school experience while they are at Lake Nona.

Have a great week and thank you for looking over this latest edition of The Kingdom's Chronicle.

With Knight Pride,

Dr. Stephanie R. Jackson, Ed.D.
Principal
Lake Nona Middle School
