Hello Again!

As we say goodbye to February (and hope that its ice storms don't follow us into March), we hope that you are looking forward to a new season full of possibilities!

This spring, the Student Success Center is delighted to welcome our terrific new student assistant, Anthony Kendrick, whose work on this newsletter will enable us to return to our regular bi-weekly distribution schedule. Welcome, Anthony!

Without further ado, please read on for news and opportunities available to students in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences, in majors from Anthropology to Women's and Gender Studies. For questions or to submit material for the next SSC newsletter, please contact us at ssc@ou.edu. We love to hear from you!

Explainer: Research Experiences for Undergraduates

The National Science Foundation's Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program funds active research for undergraduate students across different domains in the natural and social sciences. Research institutions are encouraged to accept out-of-state students, and this program provides a stipend to support student travel and living expenses during the span of their research. For a searchable list of upcoming REU's, as well as application instructions and FAQ's, visit Pathways to Science.
