Hello Friends,
Although the days are getting shorter, we are still waiting for the temperature to cool down here along the Forgotten Coast. Scallop season was a tremendous success for everyone and the bay has been alive with boats and kayaks and waders this month.
"Capers" will be excited to know that Beach Restoration is underway and new sand is being pumped in daily at the north Cape. We now have some beautiful dune structures and a nice wide beach. If you want to see more pictures,
Highway 98 in Mexico Beach is scheduled to reopen this month, and we are happy to see that.
We are seeing progress in the rebuilding of our area as more and more damaged homes are being repaired and we are thankful for no severe weather so far in the Hurricane Season. We all felt the stress over Dorian as it developed and are empathetic over conditions in the Bahamas, who took the hit.
September has been a slower month for real estate overall, but Coastal Realty Group has maintained our Number 1 ranking in listings and selling sides. Our Agents work tirelessly for their clients and there are none better for customer service anywhere!
October brings Fall Festivals and Football Games and leads us into the family celebration time of year. Take a look at our links below showing what is happening along the Forgotten Coast. We are especially excited to celebrate our recovery efforts on the anniversary of Hurricane Michael with several events, displays, activities throughout the weekend.
I want to invite our friends to join us for our events and we are always happy to see you here at our favorite place in the Sun!
Sunniest Regards,
Preston Russ, Broker
Coastal Realty Group
