A Message from Mr. Aiken
Dear Parents and Students,

While we are navigating these uncertain times, we are planning ahead for the opportunity to celebrate the Eden Christian Academy Class of 2020!

On behalf of the faculty and staff, we are so proud of each of senior and we know that the Lord has wonderful plans for each and every one of them - plans to prosper and not to harm, plans for a hope and a future!

I wanted to provide you with information about upcoming and planned activities.

  • Watch for senior spotlights on Eden social media this week.
  • Senior Awards will be presented asynchronously. The release date is yet to be determined.
  • Celebrations will include the Senior Breakfast on Thursday, July 30, at 8:30 AM and the Commencement Program on Friday, July 31, at 7:00 PM. These activities will occur at Christ Church at Grove Farm.
  • Our plan is to still have the prom on the Gateway Clipper and we are awaiting approval on the date.
  • We are disappointed that the seniors missed out on the Senior Trip and we have invited them to attend the Senior Trip in 2021

As we receive updates from the State of Pennsylvania and other represented entities we will be certain to pass along any necessary changes.

We know that the COVID-19 crisis has deeply impacted many and needs have increased tremendously. There are families in the Eden Christian Academy community that are hurting with loss of income, financial needs for paying bills, and even daily food needs.

I wanted to communicate to you that, In response to these needs, we have created a Good Samaritan Fund.  Mrs. Christine Kaniecki, a parent of two Eden alumni who also works in the Mt. Nebo campus office, has graciously accepted the opportunity and responsibility of managing this fund.

There are two action steps:

  • First, please pray. If the Lord prompts you to give, you can make a gift online at Good Samaritan Fund OR mail your gift to the Mt. Nebo Campus, Attention Christine Kaniecki, 318 Nicholson Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. Please make your check payable to Eden Christian Academy and note Good Samaritan Fund in the memo line.
  • Second, if you know of an Eden family that is in need or if your family is in need, please confidentially contact Mrs. Christine Kaniecki at ckaniecki@edenca.org.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration to come alongside families in need just as the Good Samaritan did in Luke 10:25-37.

I am grateful for your continued prayers, patience, understanding, and perseverance through the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Sincerely in Christ,
Todd Aiken
ECA's Online Upper School Chapel
Are you ready for a special chapel?

This week, without specific planning, the messages followed a God-directed theme. You'll hear from one of our seniors, an ECA Alumni, join student-led worship from home, and be inspired by a faculty member and her family.

We encourage you to sit down as a family and allow God to speak directly to you!
