A WEEK IN REVIEW
Department of Planning, Community & Economic Development
The Census is Coming! Count Me In College Park!
The United States Census is coming in spring 2020. The census is a count of every person who lives in the United States and its territories that happens every 10 years. Students, renters, children and non-US citizens need to be counted where they reside on April 1, 2020. Every household will receive a postcard notification from the U.S. Census Bureau and is required by law to complete it. Respond starting in March online, over the phone, or by mail. The City of College Park had a low response rate in 2010 and therefore was undercounted.

Learn more about the census and how the City of College Park is participating at www.collegeparkmd.gov/census2020
