It's been four years...

Today, the Friends of Nobska Light community had planned to be celebrating and holding our fourth annual meeting. A milestone. Due to this unprecedented time, we are not.

Nobska, like the rest of the world, is trying to adjust to an ever-changing new normal. We are looking at our plans for the coming months and deciding what must be canceled, delayed, and what we can go on with safely. All in-person meetings have been halted and like most of you, we are learning the ups and downs of virtual gatherings.

For many of us, Nobska is a very special guiding beacon. Please know we are here for you and working hard to ensure that Nobska continues to be that light, long into the future.

Lighthouses are endlessly suggestive signifiers of both human isolation
and our ultimate connectedness to each other.
