Jewish Federation of Ottawa is pleased to present our 2021 leadership development program, which aims to prepare the next generation of Jewish leaders. Young professionals (mid-20s to mid-40s) are invited to join our first session of the J-Fellows Speaker Series and learn the guiding principles and practices of Jewish communal leadership from experts in the field. In commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Ambassador Sabina Sparwasser, Ambassador of Germany to Canada; Ambassador Kuchler, IHRA President (Germany); Professor Cotler, Chair of Raul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights; and Professor Yehuda Bauer - Honorary Chair of IHRA Professor Emeritus, Holocaust Studies, Hebrew University, Academic Adviser of Yad Vashem will join together for a plenary discussion "Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial."

The COVID Cloud & Its Silver Lining

Join us for a virtual discussion with Dr. Agnes Klein who will help us uncover the mysteries of COVID-19 and shed some light on treatments and vaccines. Agnes V. Klein MD, DPH, is currently the Senior Medical Advisor in the Biologics and Genetic Therapies Directorate at Health Canada. The registration fee is $10 and donations of $18 and over will be receipted and will help us honour Dr. Klein and support Na'amat Canada's Centre for Prevention of Violence in the Family (the Glickman Centre).
