A Message from the Director
I hope everyone had a great long weekend.
This week, the Fall Semester officially begins at the University of Windsor. Although things are looking very differently this semester with most classes being delivered remotely, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all students "coming" back to school. We wish you a productive semester!
This week, EPICentre's staff and a few of our members are also returning to our office at EPICentre on rotating schedules. We are happy to be getting back to some normalcy after working from home for almost six months. All meetings and events will continue to take place online. We will also not be accepting visitors at our facility at this time to minimize the risk of infection.
We are excited to announce that the 2nd EPIC VentureWomen Program, a four-month accelerator program to support female entrepreneurs is now open for application. A top VentureWoman Prize of $3,000 funded by Lucas Imagine Fund will be awarded on the Final Pitch Day. We welcome any team with at least one female founder to apply.
Finally, we would like to welcome Ken Ozoemenam, an Odette MBA candidate, to EPICentre team. Ken will be spending the next 11 weeks with us working on impact and performance evaluation, customer relationship management and assisting in program delivery.
