Today is Election Day! Lincoln Square’s polling sites appear to have no lines and short waiting times, so if you haven't voted yet, go to the polls before they close at 9:00pm to make sure your voice is heard. Click here to find your polling site and to view a sample ballot. And, although things are quiet in Lincoln Square, businesses and restaurants are open! Note that Central Park West between West 60th and West 62nd Streets is closed to vehicular traffic, though the sidewalk remains open for pedestrians, and West 61st Street between Broadway and Central Park West is closed to both vehicular traffic and pedestrian traffic. Watch the NYPD’s Chief of Department give an update on NYPD preparations for the Election here.
