"What if today, we were just grateful for everything?" - Charlie Brown

At this time for giving thanks, I hope that you truly know how grateful we are for you here at ESLT. You shower us with gifts of kindness and support, and we don't take it lightly.

We know that you have many choices in how, and with whom, you share your gifts. It means so much to have you by our side as together we protect this vibrant and special place. There is more work to be done, and your support is more critical now than ever.

Whether you are with family or friends eating a traditional meal, preparing s'mores over a campfire, or walking into the quiet of nature, I hope that kindness and support surround you in this season of thanks.

Words cannot describe my deep gratitude. Your generosity gives me hope.

With sincere thankfulness,
Kay Ogden,  Executive Director

A Wild and Working Mosaic

A video from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation highlights the role of working lands in conservation.

Our Fall 2019 SierraScapes newsletter featured ESLT Executive Director Kay Ogden's story of falling in love with the Eastern Sierra. She called this landscape a "wild and working mosaic."

In this beautiful video, farmers, ranchers, and conservation workers in the American West reveal how the "working" part of that mosaic helps our wildlife thrive.

We've certified 15 new Pollinator Gardens!
We've now certified a total of 126 Pollinator Gardens. They create havens for at-risk pollinators, boosting the health of the entire Eastern Sierra.
Would you like to certify your garden in 2020?
