Women's History Month

March marks the beginning of Women's History Month! Celebrate women's stories and explore a diverse group of authors through our Female Voices Reading List. Adults, teens, and children can find links to books as well as ebooks and audiobooks in our collections.

Virtual Author Visit: Antwan Eady

Join us for a very special virtual visit with Savannah author, Antwan Eady! Antwan will read his debut picture book, Nigel and the Moon, illustrated by Gracey Zhang, and talk about his experience as an author.

Youth Art Month

March 5 - April 2, 2022 at Bull Street Library

March is Youth Art Month! Visit Bull Street Library to view artwork by students from Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. A kickoff event is scheduled for Saturday, March 5 from 10:00AM - 2:00PM in Thomas Park, next to the Library. The special exhibition will be on display until Saturday, April 2.
Creative Writing Contest Winners!

Congratulations to the winners of this year's Creative Writing Challenge, presented by Leopold's Ice Cream and Live Oak Public Libraries. Finalists will be invited to read their poems at the Savannah City Council Meeting on Wednesday, March 9 at 11:00AM. Special thanks to all of the students who shared their creativity as well as the teachers and parents who supported this project.

Bull Street Library is undergoing building renovations through May 2022. Bull Street Library will be open with limited services due to ongoing interiors upgrades. We appreciate your patience with this improvement project!
