On behalf of the SJPS Foundation Board of Directors, thank you for your 2021 gifts to enrich the education of students. We had a great year!

Your contributions impact every student in our district and position us well for future projects. I am so grateful to this community, and friends and alumni across our Nation who think of us for their charitable giving.

Team 3620: The Average Joes
Cleared for Takeoff!

FIRST® teams from around the world gathered virtually January 8 for the official start of the 2022 season. Once hearing the long-awaited details of this year's challenge, St. Joe High School's successful Robotics team immediately began strategizing.

"My goal this year is for the robot to win and function without breaking down, also climbing the traversal rung because it would be cool."

Andrew Smith, Sophomore

Clark Vance, Sophomore
CAD Team

"My favorite part of kick off was the strategy afterward and absorbing all the ideas given to us in the video. My goal is to get the robot onto the traversal rung."

Doug Wegscheid
Programming Mentor
"My goal for the students is to put together a robot that works well with minimum input."
FIRST Robotics Competitions, also referred to as the ultimate Sport for the Mind, combine the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. The SJPS Foundation has been a strong supporter of "The Joes", securing funding for STEAM initiatives in the district, as well as the Edward J. Todd Innovation Center which houses SJ Robotics Programs.
