Community Health Resources launched a new hotline to provide immediate assistance to anyone who is struggling with acute stress during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The HERO HOTLINE is specially designed for:
- Frontline heroes: healthcare providers, first responders, grocery store employees, delivery providers and other essential employees.
- Family-members and friends of front line employees
- Anyone who is grieving after losing a loved-one during the crisis.
- Anyone who is struggling during this crisis.

, and toilet paper, Americans are (unsurprisingly) stocking up on booze. In fact, sales of alcoholic beverages rose 55% in the week ending March 21, according to

, and online alcohol sales spiked an impressive 243%. Zoom happy hours seem to be the new normal and people are regularly sharing Instagram posts with a glass of wine or “quarantini” in hand.

Reports: GAMING
Americans forced to work from home and self-isolate due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic appear to be spending a lot of their time playing video games. Gaming data usage on Verizon networks has skyrocketed since last week, when many began adopting isolation measures. An increase of 75 percent from March 8-15 suggests that gaming has been a popular way to whittle away the hours for many. Virtual private network (VPN) usage increased by 34 percent, while web traffic rose 20 percent and video bandwidth usage went up 12 percent. Social media figures surprisingly remained the same.
