STUDENT NEWS
ROBOTICS WINS JUDGES AWARD
On November 9, Rosary's robotics team received the Judges Award at the VEX Robotics competition.
Judges have the opportunity through observation and interviews to identify teams, schools and clubs that strive to keep their program student-centered, and also understand the purpose of the program is to enhance the learning process, not to win at all costs. Judges consider a number of possible criteria for this award, such as team displays of special attributes, exemplary effort and perseverance at the event that deserve special recognition. Congratulations, to our Royals!
HOBY STATE LEADERSHIP SEMINAR
Every year, Rosary sends one delegate to participate in the HOBY State Leadership Seminar for Outstanding Sophomores. This program provides unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences for participants. This year, the seminar will be held at California State University, Fullerton from June 19-21. Current sophomores may apply. More information may be found here .
CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Our annual canned food drive runs from November 1-21. This is a class competition – the class bringing in the most food will have extra points added to their Clash of the Classes tally. All donations will be given to St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church SVDP Society.
