Please join us for the  October 10th PTSO Meeting  at 9am in the Faculty Dining Room for a conversation on Challenge Success.  We will have the opportunity to hear from Marc Bender, WHS Assistant Vice Principal leading WHS Challenge Success Team, and a number of WHS students on why Challenge Success is important to them.  In addition, WHS PTSO and Challenge Success are pleased that Drs. Anthony Rao and Paul Napper are joining us to preview  The Power of Agency .

World of Wellesley has a number of wonderful events coming up next week and they invite you and your families to participate:  Indigenous Peoples Day:  Land Clean Up on Saturday, October 12th from 2pm to 3:30pm at Longfellow Pond on Oakland Street,  First Light Flashback:  A Performance by Annawon Weeden on Sunday, October 13th from 6pm to 8pm at 26 Benvenue Street; and  Indigenous Peoples Day Children and Family Event on Monday, October 14 from 11am to 1:15pm at Schofield  Elementary School.  To RSVP and for more information, please click  here .

Wellesley School Building Committee invites the community to come hear about the Hardy/Upham feasibility study process and timeline, ask questions of the project consultants and learn about future opportunities to engage and provide feedback.   Topics will include the educational visioning process, key features of today's elementary schools, the approach to sustainability and ways stakeholders will be included as the Town develops its plan to rebuild either the Hardy or Upham School in partnership with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA).  Date:  Tuesday, October 15 at 7:30pm at WMS Auditorium.

Wellesley Conservation Council Fall Lecture (co-sponsored by the Wellesley Free Library):  Dinosaurs, Dunes, and Drifting Continents:  The Amazing Geologic History of Massachusetts, on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7pm in the Wakelin Room, Wellesley Free Library.  For more information, see flyer.

  • On Wednesday, November 13th, 7pm at the Sprague School Gym, WEF will be hosting their community adult spelling contest and fundraising event!
