HEF Group Acquires Abrisa Technologies
HEF expands its business of surface engineering solutions into the world of Photonics with Optical PVD Coatings and Technical Glass Solutions.
HEF Group, based in France, a global leader in metallurgical surface treatments, coatings and PVD vacuum deposition technology for wear, friction and corrosion reduction of industrial and other mechanical components, is pleased to announce that effective December 23rd 2020, it has acquired 100% of the stock of California-based ABRISA TECHNOLOGIES, a specialist in optical thin-film coatings and fabricated technical glass solutions for photonics.
About our combined companies: HEF acquired Abrisa Technologies to add Optical PVD coatings and Technical Glass Solutions capabilities to its portfolio. Now all customers have access to an expanded range of our combined capabilities, coatings and glass fabrication solutions. Abrisa Technologies' customers will also benefit from HEF’s extensive materials engineering know-how, wide range of protective coating solutions and HEF’s commitment to investment in manufacturing technology and development that will enable Abrisa Technologies to provide its customers with even more innovative solutions and the capacity to support their growing and changing market needs.
