Fellowship Workday, Sat. May 22nd @9:00

The Fellowship has a number of regular renters coming back and several private event rentals in June. We need to clean up & prepare the campus for these events as well as the possibility of some of our own small groups returning to campus soon.

Some of the items that need attention are: All the patio furniture needs washing, weeding, and general sprucing up after 15 months of inactivity.

In addition to the work on the patio, the weeds at the drainage ditch along Freedom are in serious need of people with weed wackers.

 Dance as a Spiritual Practice:

UUFSCC Community Minister, Rev. Terra Collier-Young and her husband, Scott Young, extend an invitation for members and friends to join in a somatic embodiment practice called Conscious Dance, held on Saturday mornings, 9:50-11:30am via Zoom.
This is an opportunity to participate in a musically motivated moving meditation, letting your body move as it is naturally inclined to and without judgment.

AFC is a nonprofit entity bringing together 26 local faith communities toward its mission of alleviating suffering through interfaith action. Some of its programs include SafeSpaces parking, homeless services such as shelters and showers, and advocacy for a better system for addressing the needs of the unhoused in our community. The ongoing homeless crisis and the new problems and resources from the Covid-19 epidemic have provided unique challenges. After service on May 16 we will have an opportunity learn more from AFC board member Steve Bare.
