Waking Up White Book Study
Week Two:
Chapter Summaries & Discussion Questions
January 11, 2021 6:30-8 PM
People of Grace,

Thank you to all of you who attended last evenings discussion. We had over 30 participants over zoom and others who are joining the discussion by meeting together at a time that better fits their schedules. It is wonderful so many are taking part in this crucial conversation. If you feel called to do so, think about others who might benefit from joining us, forward them this email, and ask them to register using the link at the bottom, but most importantly to join us! It is not to late for others to join in and add to the conversation. This next week, our theme is confession. You can find the resources we will be using below. I have also included a link to the "Shema" video, from this week, in case you wanted another listen or to share some of your learning with others!

See you next Monday!
Pastor Maria
"This kind of confession should and must take place continuously as long as we live. For this is the essence of a genuinely Christian life, to acknowledge that we are sinners and to pray for grace."
-Martin Luther (The Large Catechism, 1529)
