Meher Baba
At Meher Center, 1956
Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,

A loving Jai Baba from Meher Center. Many thanks to all of you who were able to join us for the virtual community gathering with Meher Center’s board this past weekend. It was an informative and open exchange of ideas and opinions.

The board is planning to convene virtual community meetings three times a year to talk with those who love Meher Center and are committed to its well-being. A video of the virtual presentation is included in this week's offering.

A reminder to all teenagers and parents of teenagers: it is not too late to sign up for the annual Youth Sahavas being held this June. Please click here for additional information.

As you no doubt know by now, we are continuing to open the Center to more and more guest activities. As such, we are happy to say that we are planning the following programs in the Meeting Place:

  • April 15, 8 p.m. - Reopening Concert
  • April 16, 8 p.m. - Reopening Concert
  • April 17, 7:30 a.m. - Easter Sunrise in Baba's Compound
  • April 20, 8 p.m. - First night of 70th anniversary celebration
  • April 21, 8 p.m. - Second night of 70th anniversary celebration
  • April 22, 8 p.m. - Michael Siegell Concert

As we are anticipating that a large number will want to attend, please reserve for only one night of the two reopening concerts by calling 843-272-8793. Feel free to leave a message and Jane will get back with you to confirm your reservation.

Also, Center hours on Friday afternoon for day visitors is now 2pm to 6pm.

In Baba’s love and service,

"Wrapped in His embrace, I was home"
Leatrice Johnston, daughter of Darwin and Jeanne Shaw, shares her tender story of meeting Meher Baba at Meher Center. In part one of this audio, she shares her relationship with Norina Matchabelli, living at Youpon Dunes while preparing for Baba's arrival, her anticipation to meet Him and at last running into His arms at the Lagoon Cabin in 1952. Her talk is interspersed with deep reflections on inner life with Him including topics like surrender, obedience and commitment to being with Him as our true Master.
