On Sunday we began our Year In The Word Sermon Series. If you missed any of this sermon series or any other series you can find them here.
As we turn the page and begin a new year, let’s pause to remember the God of the ultimate new life. For 2021, our theme is “A Year In the Word.” We are excited to begin this journey with you and will continue this Sunday, as we go book by book from Genesis to Revelation throughout 2021.
We will provide a Daily Devotional Guide to accompany this series. If you didn't pick up one of the booklets Sunday, Volume 1 is attached for you here. The PDF is interactive, so save it to your device or computer, get in God's word, and let the 7 arrows help you interact with His words to you. This 1st volume of the Discipleship Guide will take us to April 11, from Genesis all the way to Esther.
Below are some videos to help you learn how the 7 Arrows Bible study method can assist you with interacting with the Lord and His Word.

2021 Offering Envelopes
Offering envelopes are here! You can pick them up in the office hallway during business hours and on Sunday morning they will be in the Family Room. They are arranged by last name. If your box is missing, please put your name on the list on the table, and we will prepare a box for you. If you do not want your envelopes, please mark "recycle" on the top by your name and we will use them in pew racks.

Each week we have multiple ways for your kids to participate in Kids Worship! One way is to join us for our Kids Zoom Wednesdays at 6:30! During this time kids will get to join together to hear our weekly Bible story, sing worship songs, & play games! VBC Kids Ministry t-shirts have arrived!
If you ordered a shirt you may pick it up at the church office Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm. Also if you served as a children's or preschool Sunday school teacher or Wednesday night volunteer (before COVID) we have a shirt for you! The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially.
This offering supports over 3,600 missionaries with the International Mission Board including our own Mike and Lisa W. and Lauren P. Because of your generous giving, we have exceeded our Lottie Moon Missions Offering goal with a total of $34,384. You can continue to give to this offering to support international missions through January 17th.

Food Pantry Wish List
The Food Pantry for Woodford County could use our help for supplies. Below is a list of items they are in need of. Your donations can be dropped off at the church and a member of the food bank will pick them up.

CANNED: Potatoes, peas, carrots, mixed vegetables, greens (kale, mustard greens, spinach, collard greens, etc.), beans of all kinds, soups of all kinds, fruit of all kinds, tuna, salmon, Vienna sausage, spam, chicken, any canned meat, pasta (spaghetti O's, beef and mac, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, beefaroni), all types of spaghetti sauces, tomatoes, tomato sauce, juice, and peanut butter.
DRY: Potatoes, cereal of all kinds, oatmeal, packaged rice dinners, packaged macaroni dinners, macaroni & cheese, crackers, 1# packages of dry rice, 1# packages of beans (pinto, black, kidney, navy and great northern).
PERSONAL CARE - HYGIENE ITEMS: Bar soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels.
