A New Message from the Mayor
Beach Status
In addition to the photos shown in the Mayor's video, here is current work taking place at Lake Forest Beach. Crews continue to repair damage from past storms and the high water level of Lake Michigan. The City hopes restoration work goes smoothly and quickly so the beach can be open as soon as possible.
Be Careful Out There!
With so many families outside and the weather warming up, please remember to be courteous to others and exercise caution to remain safe and avoid accidents. The City continues to encourage all residents to be mindful of other walkers, runners and bikers on our roads, sidewalks and paths, especially when using earbuds or headphones.

It's Easy

Lake Forest's current response rate is 71.7% - thank you!

The Census paper questionnaire was mailed on April 8 to anyone who has not yet responded. Please complete the questionnaire and return it or respond online at my2020census.gov or by phone at 844.330.2020.

In the coming months, when it is safe to do so, Census takers will follow up with in-person visits to addresses for which responses have not been received.
