Kathy Moody Memorial Scholarship
|
A scholarship program established by The Arc of Fort Bend County.
It is designed for students with an intellectual and/or developmental disability who need financial assistance to attend a post-secondary educational or vocational program.
The scholarship was established in memory of Kathy Moody who worked with others for many years to establish The Arc as an organization which improves the quality of life of our clients and their families. Her passion for improving employment opportunities and reliable transportation was well known. We feel that providing financial assistance to students so that they can improve their skills necessary for employment honors Kathy's passion.
