Dear Friend of Envision,
It’s the little things that make a really BIG difference.
- A “comfort bag” filled with a toothbrush, soft pajamas, a teddy bear and other items can soothe some of the apprehension of moving into foster care when circumstances make remaining in the family home impossible for a child with a disability.
- Training aids – such as timers for toilet training and signage for task reminders – can help children with disabilities learn important life skills.
- A mattress for a child with a disability who sleeps on a couch (because she doesn’t have a bed) can restore dignity and provide a much-needed good night’s rest.
- Plants for a vegetable garden can give adults living in a group home a fun project and fresh produce for their meals.
Envision has always been committed to offering these “extras” and established a Quality of Life Fund many years ago to help provide “the little things that make a big difference.”
Every penny comes from compassionate individuals, like you, because government funding (our primary revenue source) only covers the most basic services we provide annually to more than 600 individuals.
Envision’s Quality of Life Fund is running dry and desperately needs your help.
Will you please consider making a generous year-end gift so we can continue to meet these very important needs?
We hope to raise $50,000 by December 31, 2019 for Envision’s Quality of Life Fund.
