Cultivating an Anti-Racist Family Community - Session 1
Thursday, December 10, 2020 7 pm -9 pm via ZOOM

FAPAC is excited to announce our new partnership with Teach 2 Lead to launch our work together to build an anti-racist family community for our children. Please see below.
SESSION 1

During this first session, families supported by FAPAC will engage in both whole group and race-based affinity conversations to deepen their self-awareness as parents within this community who contribute to a culture and climate that is positive, anti-racist, and inclusive. After establishing community agreements that will foster the critical development of a safe learning space and setting personal intentions for themselves, families will examine the components of their intersectional identities, develop a shared language for supporting each other through a racial equity lens, and analyze how their personal stories, beliefs, and interests impact how they parent and support each other.

This session will help us to frame next steps on this most important work. If you are committed to this purpose, we invite you to join us. However, please understand that slots for this session are necessarily limited and we will let you know if we need to place you on a waiting list, For registration information, please Click Here!

Thank you!
