Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
-2 Corinthians 3:17
From The Pastor
Wins of the Week
Five people publicly declared their faith and were baptized last week, including three people who attended Beach Baptisms in Ormond. Winning souls for Jesus is the main mission of the church, and Tomoka considers each baptism to be an outstanding victory! If you are ready to take the next step in your faith, learn more at the link below.
Missionaries that Tomoka supports in Haiti are making a difference in their community during some incredibly difficult times. If you haven't heard, Haiti is going through major supply shortages, including gas, food and water. Tomoka was able to bless these missionaries with seven truckloads of rice, that will go to feeding people in dire need. What you see in the picture above is only one of the seven truckloads! Tomoka is grateful to work with others that are determined to spread God's love, even in the most dismal circumstances.

Around Campus
The Ormond campus will not have a Wednesday service tonight, in order to prepare for Treat Street. Join us next week at 6:30 PM as Pastor Cord concludes his sermon series, "No Fear." If you missed Pastor Cord's sermon last week, you can watch it at the link below!
We are quickly approaching the end of October, which means Tomoka's trick or treating events/outreaches are happening soon. Check out the link below to find out what your local campus has planned.
Tomoka has collected
324 shoeboxes

Tomoka would like to thank B. Braun Medical Inc. for dropping off 110 filled shoeboxes earlier this week! The generosity of their staff is beyond measure, and we are thrilled to receive such a kind donation. Thank you for helping us pull closer to our goal of 2,500 shoeboxes.

We want to challenge other local businesses to surpass their total of 110 shoeboxes. B. Braun Medical Inc. set the bar high, but we know other businesses will be up for the challenge. The deadline to drop off shoeboxes is Nov. 17.
