2022 Annual Scientific Conference Update
After two years of a virtual annual meeting, ACVR is looking forward to an IN-PERSON conference in Reno, Nevada at the Silver Legacy Hotel, October 19 - 22, 2022. The program committee, led by Dr. Jessica Vallone, is working diligently to create a full 4 days of CE including the in-person opportunities that attendees missed in 2020 and 2021. ACVR also knows that some members appreciated the virtual CE opportunities. To accommodate those individuals, ACVR will have enduring materials with VIRTUAL, ANYTIME RACE CE made available after the conference. All scientific abstracts and keynote sessions will be available as on-demand content for members who register for enduring material without physically attending. Those who register for Conference will automatically receive access to the enduring materials in addition to the in-person experience.

The ACVR meeting attendance requirement can be fulfilled with either type of registration (enduring/virtual or in-person). Each member must determine if they are able to use ANYTIME RACE credit for their veterinary license requirement
DI Job Task Analysis Committee is Formed!
Thank you to the DI Diplomates that responded as a volunteer for the diagnostic imaging job task analysis (JTA) committee! Updates from the Joint Consensus Statement Oversight Committee
The Ultrasound Consensus Statement Subcommittee presented its video summary and collected initial feedback from members of the ACVR and ECVDI over the last month. The feedback has been positive, and Dr. Seiler and her subcommittee have been considering and addressing comments. You can view the second video and provide feedback at this last step by visiting here. Feedback on this draft can be submitted until March 21, 2022.

We are also sending out the annual survey for topics to develop into the next Consensus Statement. The survey you’ll receive has a short list of topics to choose from covering a variety of diagnostic imaging subjects that will form building blocks for future consensus statements. We are also eager to welcome members interested in participating in the next Consensus Statement subcommittee, or serve on the CSOC in the future. Please let us know if you’d like to be involved! This is a joint committee between ACVR and ECVDI, giving us the opportunity to include a broad cross section of the specialty.

You can participate in the survey until March 14th.

CSOC Chair, Allison Zwingenberger
