Years of planning, months of collaboration and weeks of training culminated this fall with three of the most successful Hospital Information System go lives heathcare veterans had ever experienced.
The first go live took place at 12:01 am September 27 at Erie Shores Healthcare (ESHC), drawing a round of cheers and applause from physicians, staff and e-VOLVE personnel on site to provide support to end users.
“Go live has gone as well as we hoped it would have if we went back six months and thought about what success looks like,” said Dr. Ross Moncur, ESHC’s Chief of Staff. “This is what it looks like.”
Physicians and staff agreed, calling the implementation “really good.”
“I know everyone has worked really hard on that; it has been quite seamless, and we have had fantastic support, so that has made it a lot easier,” said Hospitalist Dr. Yee Providence.
