Let's Decorate the Church for Christmas!

It's the most wonderful and beautiful time of the year at the church!

Everyone is welcome and urged to help decorate for the season on Sunday November 21 at 4:30pm. There will be pizza served after decorating so that's a win win for everyone.
Sometimes people think putting decorations on the trees is all that needs done but here are some other things that go along with the decorating:

*Help putting large trees together 
*Help putting garlands in windows
*Help making bows
 *Help decorating trees 
*Help with lighting and extension cords

Many hands make light work!

Children's Ministry Project for November

The month of November the Children’s Ministry is collecting new blankets or throws for the Isaiah 1:17 Project. Donations can be brought to the Prayer and Praise area in the Fellowship Hall.
Christmas Projects & Volunteer Opportunities
 
The Children’s Ministry - is collecting new blankets or throws for the Isaiah 1:17 Project for the month of November. Donations can be brought to the Prayer and Praise area in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you!
Isaiah 1:17 Project: Credit cards can be purchased for the Isaiah 1:17 project for teenagers. Please bring the cards to the church office or if you have questions contact Karen Bible.
 
Christmas project with Helping His Hands – Bring unwrapped toys to the church anytime until the deadline of December 5 for ages 1 month to 18.
 
Helping His Hands: December 9 there will be a Christmas lunch followed by wrapping Christmas presents for the Helping His Hands children. Meet at Culvers at 11am followed by wrapping the gifts at Helping His Hands at 1pm.
 
Ring bells for the Salvation Army - on December 11 from 10am until 8pm at Sav A Lot. A sign-up sheet is located at the Connecting Center. This is a good project for all ages!
Kid's Hope is starting up!

CUMC is a partner with Vigo Elementary
School for the Kid's Hope Program.

Kids Hope USA has provided a proven, life-changing program through church-school partnerships that train and equip mentors to reach kids in public schools who are in-need of caring, reliable, one-on-one relationships. There will be a a table set up in the Narthax this Sunday to sign up to help with this program. There are many different opportunities to help, so stop by and see how you can contribute to this worthwhile program. Contact Val Goodman(e mail or phone 812 677 1052).
