Million Dollar Milestone
We're celebrating over $1,000,000 raised through Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM ! Since our launch in 2015, we've provided funding to 24 cancer non-profits through 70 peer-to-peer fundraising events and counting across the nation, in addition to funding our national research platforms.

This wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you for your support, participation, and fundraising efforts that brought us to this milestone!
Bringing Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM to New Heights
Your efforts and philanthropy bring us to incredible locations across the country. This year, we're excited to join even more rink communities and celebrate alongside you!

First, on January 30th we're partnering again with the Downtown Detroit Partnership to bring Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM Detroit, MI to the Frankenmuth Rink in Campus Martius Park downtown. This seasonal outdoor rink will host an ice show featuring our fundraisers, followed by a Frozen 5k.

To kick-off the month of February, on the 9th we'll take our fundraising to new heights through Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM New York City at the Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers. Overlooking the Hudson River, you can join us for a Frozen 5k and fundraise to join us for a special brunch.

Then we'll travel to Lake Placid on February 18th and celebrate 40 years since the 1980 Olympic Games with Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM Lake Placid on the Olympic Oval. Register and join us for a Frozen 5k on the Oval and stick around for the commemorative events, presented by the Olympic Regional Development Authority.

We hope to see you at the next event near you!
Board Ambassador Spotlight
Kristi Yamaguchi
We are thrilled to spotlight Olympic Gold Medalist and 2-time World Champion Kristi Yamaguchi. In 1996, she founded Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation whose mission is to inspire underserved children to reach for their dreams through innovative reading programs and by advancing the cause of early childhood literacy. Most recently, Kristi has added New York Times Best-Selling Author to her list of achievements by introducing her first children’s picture book, “Dream Big, Little Pig!” and then following up with “It’s A Big World, Little Pig!” and “Cara’s Kindness.” Kristi is a long-time friend of Scott Hamilton and the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.

We are thankful for Kristi's support of our mission and willingness to bring more awareness to Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer TM . Make sure to follow us at @TeamScottCARES across all social media to see what events Kristi will be attending this year!
