UPPCC Recertification Program Changes

UPPCC is pleased to announce new requirements for recertification as a CPPO and CPPB. For more information please visit our website. Please see highlights of the changes:

  • Procurement Experience (5 contact hours max) - Full-time public procurement experience is now eligible for credit towards recertification at a rate of 1 contact hour per year with partial years pro-rated for credit.

  • Continuing Education and Professional Development (unlimited contact hours) - Continuing Education (Accredited) and Continuing Education (Non-Accredited) categories have been merged into one Continuing Education and Professional Development category.

  • Professional Contributions (20 contact hours max) - No changes were made to this category.

  • Requirement To Earn Contact Hours Across Multiple Categories Has Been Removed -Certificants are no longer required to earn contact hours in a minimum of 2 out of 3 possible categories but may now earn the required contact hours in any of the above 3 categories.
