LOAVES & FISHES
It’s 2020! We are such a generous community, and made so many people happy in 2019, I am sure we can do it again. Please
bring cans or boxes of food to church with us each Sunday: Soups, Vegetables, Cereals, Coffee, Sugar, Canned Fruits, Canned Pasta like Ravioli.
It’s all needed and appreciated. When you see a really discounted item, or a buy one get one free, pick it up and put it in a bag to bring with you on Sunday. Just
drop your bag into one of our two wooden bins by the entry doors or put it in our wagons. The pantry gives them food to be able to feed themselves and their family for one week in an emergency situation. If shopping isn’t your thing, we can always use monetary donations! Have a Happy New Year! Debby Stoudenmire

MEN OF ST. JOHN'S BIBLE STUDY
Come join the Men of St John's as we discuss how to overcome "Guilty Dad" syndrome. The pressures of raising a family in today's environment are enormous. School, work, sports, family, housework, all demand our time and attention. Are these issues addressed in the Bible? What does the Bible know about life in 2019?
Come to room 201 during the educational hour on Sundays
and find out. This is a lively discussion on how as men we are called to set the standard for our families, our Church, and much more. Hope to see you on Sunday morning.

ROOM IN THE INN LAUNDRY CONTINUES
Each Thursday in the months of December through March, St. John's hosts up to 12 of our homeless neighbors for the night. As a part of their time at SJE, our students have committed to serving these friends by washing their clothes.
We meet at 6:15pm each week (at the preschool entrance) and head to the Monroe Road Laundromat to wash clothes. We always grab a bite to eat for dinner before heading back to church around 9:30pm. Don't forget money for dinner and tip!
All 6th - 12th grade students are invited to join us each week or just come for one or two! This time allows for a fun time of fellowship and service and is also great if youth need service hours for school.
