Battling the Blues
Tue. Dec. 1st at 7:30pm

After the last six plus months are you wondering how to manage being stuck inside even more with the coming New England winter? Or have questions about how to support your children as they struggle through all these changes? Marci daCamara, LMHC, will answer those questions and your questions as she focuses on winter/COVID-19 isolation and more.

Want to ask Marci a question, but, don't want to do it directly during the program? Fill out our anonymous Google Form HERE to get it answered. (You will still need to attend the program to hear her answer).

Delivery for Seniors & Homebound Residents
Coming Soon - Easier home delivery for Seniors and anyone who is homebound! We know how difficult it can be for some people to get to the library, especially when adding in the current health risks associated with COVID-19. So, we'd like to make it a little easier for you to get your books, movies, magazines... whatever you like to borrow from the library. We'd like to bring it to you.

All you need to do is request the titles and items you'd like - online, through the app, or with a quick phone call to the Main Desk at the Library. Once you've been notified that your items are ready, call Tracy at 978-686-4080 x19 to be added to the delivery list. Deliveries will be made on Thursdays. Delivery will take place outside, practicing full social distancing guidelines.

If you have your items outside for us, we'll return them to the library as well. Please call 978-686-4080 ext 2 for further information, or to order materials.
A Puzzle Swap!
Sat. Nov. 7th & Tue. Nov. 10th in the Fireplace Room (during our open hours)

Let's Swap Puzzles!

Do you enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, but need something new to work on? Do you have a pile of puzzles you've already done and just don't want to look at anymore?

We're hosting a puzzle swap on in our Fireplace Room.

Bring in your complete puzzles (no one likes a puzzle with a piece missing) and take home new-to-you puzzles. Any leftover puzzles will be given to the Friends of the Library for a future book sale.

We will be observing library guidelines respecting social distancing and capacity limits. Update your puzzle stash before the winter blues set in!

What's Happening in Children's?
So Many Fun Things To Do in November
The Children’s Department is gearing up for a busy month in November, chock-full of interesting and delightful offerings.

Two highlights are our “Homeschool How-To” panel featuring local experts and practitioners, as well as another lovely production from the Tanglewood Marionettes called “The Dragon King.”

We’re also launching a new book group, the “What Is? Who Is?” book club for 7- 8-year-olds, which focuses on selections from everyone’s favorite nonfiction series.

And in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we’re offering a special “Giving Thanks” storytime and also Driveway Doodles, a unique effort to “artfully” show our gratitude towards our young patrons.

Last but definitely not least, once again the Children’s Department will sponsor a Giving Tree to provide Christmas gifts to Merrimack Valley homeless children served by Emmaus, Inc. – this year the tree will be set up on the main floor, where you can choose a Wish List tag from the tree to help make a child’s Christmas dreams come true. Thank you!
