Christ community,

Just a week and a half and we'll be holding worship indoors and in-person in our beautiful sanctuary! I can't wait for September 27th! For those of you who are ready to worship in-person and indoors, please remember to RSVP the week of worship to inform us that you will be in attendance. The RSVP will include the time of worship that you are planning to attend - 8am traditional or 10:30am Live Band. RSVP links will be available on our website (christcm.org), or in the Unified At Christ email the Thursday before worship.

Outdoor in-person worship is still available this Sunday the 20th, and next Sunday the 27th. Please remember to RSVP, bring your chair, masks (unless health prevents you), and your willingness to worship together!

Please remember that if you're not ready to jump into in-person worship, we get it, and we trust your decision making. You know how to make the best decision for you, and we stand behind you. Live Stream worship remains available at both 8am and 10:30am. In fact, we are installing some new equipment this week and next, which will make our online presence even more seamless.

Looking forward to worshiping with you this Sunday!

Unified at Christ,
Pastor Drew
This is a great week to invite a friend or family member to worship with you online, or outside on Sunday night! We'll be continuing in our new and meaningful message series, "Love More." We as followers of Jesus are identified by how we love. Remember, Jesus said in John 13:35, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." As we talked about last week, being a follower of Jesus, who is willing to forgive, we are people who are willing to profess, "I will love you more than you love me." Jump in this week as we talk about being willing to love, even when vulnerable.

See you Sunday!

Love More,
Pastor Drew

Love Costa Mesa Serve Day
Join Costa Mesa's annual city-wide community volunteer service day on Saturday, October 3. Love Costa Mesa Day is a great way to show the community that we care. It’s a day to invest in our neighborhoods, parks, schools, and nonprofits to spread a little love and blessing in our city. Love Costa Mesa Day is October 3rd and we want everyone to participate!

The collective goal is to have over 2000 volunteers serve in 50 plus projects throughout our city! These projects will include fully virtual, low touch, and safe in-person projects so that anyone can participate. There are so many ways to serve the community without gathering in large crowds. We’ll also be having a COVID friendly rally that is partially virtual and partially drive-in. We’re looking forward to all of the great things that will happen this year on Love Costa Mesa Day!

Sign up to volunteer as a project leader if there's a city need you're aware of. This could include cleaning up a local park or street, helping a neighbor with yard work, updating facilities for a local non-profit or business, encouraging first responders, or any other way we can Love Costa Mesa!

You can submit a project suggestion here if you already know what project you’d like to for your church to do. If you have questions or need ideas for a project you can contact Isabel at isabel@wearetrellis.com.
Projects will be updated as the date gets closer. Check out more information at lovecostamesa.org
