Get ready for the FIREWORKS!
The Dover 4th of July Committee is still busy working on plans and submissions to bring you and your family a festive night of fireworks on July 4th!
Parade will take place starting around 7:00pm. The parade will start lining up at 5:30pm near Central Middle School. It will exit Hazel St., make a left onto N. State Street, make a left onto E. Loockerman Street, and a right onto Legislative Mall - where the stage and judges will be. A DJ will also be playing music (after parade) until the fireworks start. Fireworks will begin around 9:20pm. Remember, rain and high winds can impact the start times and they are approximate. A raindate is scheduled for July 5th for the fireworks only. Although every attempt will be made to get them in the night of the 4th even if it is a little earlier or later than planned.
Due to COVID guidelines, we had to scale back on vendors. For this reason you will want to pack a cooler (no alcohol allowed and no glass, please), grab a blanket or lawn chairs and a flashlight to make navigating back to your car a little easier!
Please take all trash with you.
A HUGE thank you to the 4th of July Committee. A great group of dedicated volunteers wanting to share the joy of the holiday with all of you.
Please visit their website at www.dover4thofjuly.com for the most up to date information or follow them on Facebook!

Keep an eye out for our mobile
Community Response Unit?
The Community Response Unit serves as a source of crime prevention with resources (including mental health) as well as assisting with Community Outreach. It is an ideal way to come into neighborhoods and meet people and to help build the positive relationships that otherwise may not exist.
We are proud of the Dover Police Department and even more so, the efforts being put forth by the Community Policing Division to help build the rapport with everyone in our community!
Many thanks!

A special thank you to Smith’s Bait & Tackle for their overwhelming

JUST A REMINDER! WE ARE ALMOST DONE!
Over the course of the next few weeks
areas in the parking lot and around the building at 5 E. Reed Street (where we go to pay our electric bills) will be under construction - equipment, scaffolding and more will be located around the site as the roof replacement
to the building takes place.
Please note! One lane of the drive thru will be closed for safety precautions.
All building entrances will be open for business as usual.
Thank you for your patience while we make the repair!
