Reindeer Round-Up is an annual, fun holiday-themed scavenger hunt that brings families Downtown and into Downtown businesses!
If you sign up, the Downtown Association will loan you one gorgeous wood-carved reindeer that you can hide somewhere in your business, and your business will be included on a "passport map" that you'll mark every time a child finds the "hidden" reindeer at your location.
Reindeer Round-Up runs from November 27 to December 23. The deadline for participation is November 22, and reindeer will be delivered by November 25.
New COVID-19 rules:
- Restaurants must have reindeer "hidden" in the window or in a safe and accessible location in outdoor dining areas.
- Retailers may have reindeer inside, but are encouraged to place reindeer in front portion of store.
- Retailers and Restaurants must be open a minimum of 5 days a week.
*Businesses are responsible for safe keeping of the reindeer and for returning it to the Downtown Association at the end of the promotion. Retailers with a small capacity are encouraged to "hide" the Reindeer within their window displays.
By signing up, you are pledging to train your employees to safely stamp or initial passports when children find the reindeer, and to give clues on the location of the reindeer if needed.
Priority Participation Note:
2/3 of reindeer will be allotted to businesses not on Pacific Avenue.
