Brock Jungjohan

Brock Jungjohan, a 2018 graduate from Spirit Lake High School, is the Marketing Intern at annLeo. Located in Milford, annLeo helps healthcare facilities get the staff they need by being a single point of contact between healthcare locations and multiple medical staffing agencies. Jungjohan is a rising sophomore at the University of Iowa, where he studies Psychology and Enterprise Leadership.

ILCC to Host Leadership Training Fall 2019 and Spring 2020

Iowa Lakes Community College intends to hold classes on leadership skills for the upcoming school year. Each training is a one day event and is available at the Spencer or Algona campuses. Some of the subjects include, Key Roles of Leadership, Time Management, Workplace Professionalism, What Motivates Employees, and Communication.

BVU Announces New Scholarship in Partnership with Tyson Foods

Buena Vista University announced two new scholarship opportunities for students with parents or guardians who are employed at Tyson Foods in Storm Lake. BVU intends to match two already existing scholarships awarded by Tyson Foods, resulting in the winning applicants receiving double the amount.

Alumni Return En-Masse for CC-E All-School Reunion

A Clay Central Everly All-School reunion was held in conjunction with the 2019 Community days. This brought back many alumni from Everly and Royal schools to the area for a variety of events, including reminiscing and saying goodbye to the high school building.

U of O Corvette Club Makes Donation to Okoboji Foundation

The University of Okoboji Corvette Club donated $3,000 dollars to the Okoboji Foundation. The donation was largely made possible by the club's annual "Vettes in the Park" event.
