The application for the HUHS Scholarship Foundation for 2021 will be open on Monday, December 7th! HUHS Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a charitable foundation organized by local citizens and business people and administered by Legacy Private Trust Company. The income of the fund is used for scholarships and financial aid to assist deserving graduates of Hartford Union High School in their post-high school education. The application for the almost 50 available scholarships is open until February 26, 2021.
To apply, please visit the HUHS website, and click on “Academics/Scholarship/HUHS Scholarship Foundation.” There you will find the list of available scholarships, a step-by-step application process, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions. If you still have further questions, you can send an email to scholarships@huhs.org.
Student Council would like to thank our generous blood donors who donate at one of our three drives during 2020. This year HUHS drives have collected 181 units of blood for Southeastern Wisconsin. While COVID has created a road bump, Student Council has been holding smaller drives, concluding the year with our last drive on December 11 collecting over 40 units. Due to our support of the Blood Center, we were able to award another scholarship to a deserving HUHS student. Congrats to Irene W our winner from the December drive. Student Council will be hosting another blood drive on January 18th. Sign up here
Friendly Reminder: Students: If you are not feeling well during the school day, you must report to the Health Room as per our procedures. The Health Room is located at the corner by the cafeteria hallway. Students should not be calling or texting parents/guardians to tell them they are not feeling well and want to go home.
WEF will continue to be a resource for our students and schools.
As in the past, we'll need your help to get our students and families pointed in WEFs direction. We're expecting nearly 100 colleges, universities, military branches, and specialty schools to participate in the college fair portion. Register Now!
