There is a strange connection between Shaul (Saul) and Shmuel (Samuel) which explains why contacting the dead is connected to unclean birds and animals. The Torah portion also explains why it is so difficult for logic and reason...as well as truth...to penetrate the minds of those who ask questions of the wrong sources.
On the other hand, the very same place where Israel is tempted in the wilderness to contact the dead "ovot" is the place where they are resurrected, the stones raised up to their "avot," Avraham and Sarah.
This week's study will also analyze the 10 Tevet prophecy of Zechariah and its relationship to the onset of COVID-19 and the plagues to come. We'll offer some dates to watch in 2021 and 2022 based on the siege of Jerusalem as recorded in the Kings and Ezekiel.
