January + February School Calendar Events:​​​

  • Week of January 13: Mid-Terms start next week and will be spread out through 1/24
  • January 17: Pajama Day
  • January 20: No School - MLK Day
  • January 29: Early Release
  • February 7: Wear Red Day
  • February 12 + 13: Flower Sale
  • February 14-18: Winter Recess

Reminder: Lost & Found Bin

The Lost & Found bin is overflowing with items. Please ask your child(ren) to claim their clothing items.
If left unclaimed, school is going to recycle the items in the textile bins.
Yearbook Ads

The following link is not only for yearbooks but also for parent and business ads. Any parent can place an ad for their student. Also if anyone has a business you may submit info to advertise in our book! Please email Ms. Chymbor with any questions: schymbor@stamfordct.gov

Rippowam's Caring Closet

Ripp's Caring Closet is now up and running. The closet will be an inventory of supplies that students may privately come to take home for free. Donations will be collected all year long. These items are suggestions- feel free to find similar ones. Items can be dropped off at school or we can arrange for pick up. Please follow us on Facebook for updates!

Here is the current wish list. Items are merely suggested and we welcome any variations.

The most popular items so far have been men's and women's deodorants, shampoo, toothbrushes, bodywash, applesauce cups, and Ramen noodles.

1. Donations can be dropped off or delivered to Rippowam 381 High Ridge Road Stamford, CT 06905
2. Some donations could possibly be picked up. Please send us a message via the Facebook page ( @Rippscaringcloset), or email LLynam@stamfordct.gov
3. Gift cards to Walmart, Costco, Target, Stop and Shop, Shoprite, etc are welcome. Leave the shopping to us!

Cleaning Out Closets?
Drop off your items to Rippowam's textile bins - 2 bins in front on the side and 2 bins in the back of school by Loveland Road. The two front bins will be moved over to the parking lot side to make drop off more convenient.

Thank you for your donations that help us fund important events and mini-grants! To date the PTO has funded special events and 11 teacher's mini-grants and we are in the process of funding more mini-grants that were recently submitted.
