LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYERS
For the Spirit of healing: that God will touch all who are burdened with illness, weakness and in need, especially; Teresa Shields; Pat Daly and Peter Daly, cousins of Becky Mullin; Jan Oswalt, sister of Geri Hamai; Barry Gast, cousin of Dave Kachel; Fr. Daniel Dwyer, friend of Polly Aird; Dot Rafferty; Bill Joyce, brother of Tom Joyce; Barb Allan; Marcia Coluccio, mother of Greg Coluccio; and Bill Simpson, brother of Marilee Simpson. May the Lord in his mercy be close to them with his healing power and his tender love May God’s healing Spirit renew them in body, mind, and spirit so that they may live fully, enjoy their relationships and appreciate all of God’s gifts. And those inscribed in the Book of Prayers. May the healing love of the Spirit touch them and bring them to wholeness.

For those who have died, especially Elizabeth Cartwright Curtin, aunt of Fr. Tim Clark; Benny Gowijaya Goh, father of Rini Goh. That Christ may welcome them into the fullness of life where sorrow and pain exist no more.

We invite you to email Jody Fitts to add names to the prayer list.

OPEN WIDE OUR HEARTS -
THE ENDURING CALL TO LOVE
Inviting Each OLL Household to four February Zoom study and discussion sessions of Open Wide Our Hearts, the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Pastoral on Racism.

We invite each Our Lady of the Lake household to open wide your hearts as we join in a OneOLL four session study of the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Pastoral on Racism during the month of February. February is Black History Month and sees the beginning of Lent. What might be the impact of these sessions in individual lives, the community, and society if each OLL household participated?

We will meet on Zoom for four weekly meetings of 1.5-2 hours each. Director of Faith Formation, McKenzie Mauss, will lead the large group portions of each meeting and OLL parishioners will facilitate small breakout sessions.

We will use as our text the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center’s well-organized Study Guide, Open Wide Our Hearts—the Enduring Call to LoveThe Study Guide is designed to enable faith communities to understand individual and systemic racism; to listen to the stories of our brothers and sisters and be moved to restore right relationships; to unpack white privilege; and to work to end racism. The four sessions include: Invitation to Conversion; To Do Justice: Live in Right Relationship; To Love Goodness; and To Walk Humbly with God. The cost of the Study Guide is free to you.

We will offer each of the sessions twice a week to allow for flexibility, on Tuesdays, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 10:00 AM and on Thursdays Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 7:00 PM.

Please fill out this google form to sign up! Signup will be ongoing but for planning purposes please sign up early. If you need any help with the google form or have any questions. Please contact McKenzie Mauss.

We look forward to the abundant grace and learning of sharing OLL community as we study and discuss. Let us all participate as we open wide our hearts to God’s enduring call to love.
