Campus signage and branding
The Church is embarking on a branding and campus-wide sign and identification program along with an updated logo and overarching name of “First Church.” Watch this video to see how our signage and branding committee is positioning us for the future.

Doug Crain will lead us through the year-long discovery and planning process that has resulted in our Church identification program. This fall, Dr. Miller leads a study of John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress.” This will be followed by a study of a C.S. Downtown Theological Roundtable

This fall, K Groups will be conducting a six-week study on “God Space: Where Spiritual Conversations Happen Naturally,” by Doug Pollock. Start thinking now of people you would enjoy meeting with for six-weeks to discuss how we can incorporate Jesus into our daily conversations with those me meet in a meaningful and effective way, or, sign up and we can try to find a group for you. Wednesday nights are a vibrant time of fellowship and spiritual growth at First Church. Exodus Life Groups
Wednesdays, Beginning September 16
Girls 10-12 grade meet 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Laurel Baird’s backyard at 2709 E. 4th St.
Guys 10-12 grade meet 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Camp Loughridge near K-dome
Both Life Groups will meet outside, wearing masks unless they are eating and social distancing. We will not have dinner but provide prepackaged snacks and drinks. 
Freshmen Confirmation
Wednesdays 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., Beginning September 16
Kirkland Library
We are looking forward to the confirmation process for our new freshmen and are planning to kick off confirmation with our first meeting on Wednesday, September 16th in the Kirkland Library. We will meet in the Kirkland Library every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm through the school year. We are requiring masks and will have our seating spaced out according to protocols. We will also be streaming the lessons each week over Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. The total cost for the year is $30 and you can register here. Pathfinders and Exodus

Powerhouse
All students fifth through eighth grade (Pathfinders), and students ninth through grade 12 (Exodus) are meeting in the Powerhouse which opens at 9:20 a.m. Each student is encouraged to prescreen his or her temperature at home, and each will be rescreened at Church. Masks are required inside the Powerhouse and we will provide masks to the students who don’t have one.
