Things eLearning Wants You To Know

|
|
Quality Matters (QM)
is a sy
stematic methodology to ensure that online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced face-to-face courses are well designed to support student success. eLearning has created a Blackboard course template as part of Cal Poly Pomona's efforts to promote QM. Tip #1: Fast Video Captions
A quick way to start your video captions is by using
Youtubes built-in auto-captions
. You can then go back and make any corrections wherever they may be needed.
Tip #2: Be Recognized
There are different opportunities for recognition on campus. For instance, eLearning offers the Wall of Cool which is a resource celebrating exemplar course design and development by Cal Poly Pomona faculty for student success using technology.
Tip #3: Try Something New!
With New Year’s resolutions right around the corner one thing that may help you reach some health goals is by being a little adventurous and trying out a vegan or vegetarian restaurant. You would be amazed at how delicious some of these can be.
