All In a Day: Routines, Transitions and Experiences for a Happy Day

Have you ever thought about what makes the difference between a smooth day and one that is more challenging? There is no one thing that creates a happy, successful day with children; it is the combination of experiences. During this 2-hours Ohio-approved training we will explore how daily routines can be consistent yet flexible. We will examine what makes transition activities effective and fun. At the end of the session, you will have a list of the key factors that make up a happy day with children.

Employee Accountability: Early Childhood Education

This 3-hour Ohio-approved training was created to strengthen educational programs with a focus on developing specific targeted areas relating to Professional expectations in ECE. The activities included are assessing prior knowledge, identifying your weaknesses, goal setting, and opportunities to identify best practices that should be established in all environments of childcare and preschools. Each participant will walk away with the tools to increase their effectiveness in actively adapting to the expectations of a professional in the ECE learning environment.

Fred Rodgers said, “Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.” How can every activity facilitate children’s learning and build their development? During this 3-hour Ohio-approved workshop, participants will explore how play is the foundation of children’s growth, learning, and development. This session will provide ideas to consider when planning experiences for children.

It is important to support and take care of your teachers' well-being! During this 3-hour training, we will explore how you can do your part to help support teachers so they can be their best with the children. If teachers aren’t supported and “fed” positivity regularly, they will not be able to be their best selves for children.

Creativity: Classroom and Beyond

Do you cringe when the word creativity is mentioned? You are sitting in a workshop and the facilitator says, “Now you get to be creative and draw what this looks like to you”. What does being creative mean? How can you practice and expand your creative skills on the job and in life? During this 3-hour Ohio-approved workshop, participants will explore what creativity can look like in a variety of environments. We will discuss the three components of creativity and ten attributes of highly creative people. Participants will explore ways to use creative thinking to adapt activities and situations. Everyone is creative, we just have to discover how we can use our creativity. Join this session to uncover your creative juices!
