Show us what you want to do most when the quarantine ends - go to the movies, concerts, sports, travel or dining out. Dress for a dream vacation; be the athlete you want to cheer for; become the movie star you want to see on the big screen; you could even dress up as the entree at your favorite restaurant. Friday is "Quaran-Talent Day." Being stuck home for two months has caused a lot of people to take up new hobbies. Have you learned some new tricks? Sharpened up some special talents? The Dixon has some virtual family fun in the sun planned this weekend!
The Dixon is going to be hosting its first virtual event with "Garden Family Day Live" this Saturday, May 9, on Facebook, Instagram and the Dixon's website. The event will include instructional videos from the Dixon's expert horticultural staff, activities for kids and families, live demonstrations and even pre-recorded performances from a couple of local musicians. The live portion will start at 11 a.m., but the rest of the fun starts on the Dixon's website at 10 a.m. Access the Facebook event here.
