Support Ethical COVID-19 Vaccines
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)
and the leaders of many healthcare, bioethics, and pro-life organizations, are
urging
the Trump Administration
to ensure that Americans will have access to a COVID-19 vaccine that is free from any connection to abortion.
Among the dozens of vaccines currently in development, some are being produced using old cell lines that were created from the cells of aborted babies.
No American should be forced to choose between being vaccinated against this potentially deadly virus and violating his or her conscience.
Other cell lines or processes that do not involve cells from abortions are available. In fact, they are being used by some drug companies to develop a COVID-19 vaccine.
Please contact the Administration and urge them to ensure that ethical vaccines are available to all Americans.
